This painted was inspired by memories of the summer holidays I used to have when I was a child, snorkelling at the Playa Do Prado beach outside in Corrubedo, enjoying the underwater colours and vegetation. In this abstract interpretation I think the colours for the algae and the sea water have come out quite truthful. You have also the patterns reflecting the waves and the sea as well as the colours and patters of the fishing tools used by fishermen.
Hopefully you can relate to the colours and you can draw your own interpretation from it. It should transport you back to those times when all that matters was to have fun, too young for any responsibilities or worries in life.
