This painting is inspired by how ideas came about, regardless of the field or area anyone works or lives. One struggles to come up with anything creative and then suddenly a bulb goes off and creativity spurns out like jets, uncontrollably. The subdued colours at the bottom represent the dull and uninspiring, the blue across the painting represents the spark or catalyst moment when we see or hear something that trigger something inside us. The strips going up represent the ideas that suddenly flow out of our brain suddenly going overdrive.
I used a reduced colour palette in order to keep the same tone and blend colours in harmony.
